What is SAMBA (software) Server ?

So, what is samba? is today's topic, I think you already know about the term server. Now the Samba is a free software for that server management, it is based on SMB(server message block)/CISF networking protocol and originally developed by Andrew Tridgell.It is useful to provide printer and file services for various Microsoft Windows client machines.

SAMBA runs in most of the OS presents in the market like Windows XP to Windows 10, Mac OS servers, Unix, Open VMS, Linux and Solaris etc. Samba is released under the terms of GNU General public license.
